Brotherly Love

John Parker: "I guess I'll try holding my lil' bro."
Sawyer: "What is my bubba doing?"

Sawyer: "Not quite sure, Mama."

John Parker: "Can I take your pappy since Mama and Daddy took mine?"

John Parker: "I do love you, brother!"

It has taken three months, but John Parker finally decided that he wanted to hold Sawyer. He is well aware that he is no longer number "uno" in the Hardy household, so getting him to accept his little brother hasn't been an easy task-But he is doing so much better. After placing Sawyer in John Parker's lap for a few mintues, these were the words spoken from my two 1/2 year old once he was ready to get up from the rocker: John Parker"Here-You can have IT!!" Me: "IT has a name-Sawyer." We got a good laugh!!

Those are the sweetest pics Julie!! It's funny that John Parker called Sawyer IT - maybe he considers him a toy or something. I'm sure as time continues to pass he'll enjoy having a playmate more and more!! Such PRECIOUS boys!!

Sawyer's hair is too cute. So curly and thick. You make babies with some GOOD hair!!

P.S. I think the pic of John Parker with Santa is ADORABLE!! I hope to get a good one of Jack with Santa this year. Last year, we were very serious in our Santa pic!!

Love you!

How sweet! Anna Beth wants to hold Addison ALL the time. It's so funny to watch Addison's face when she sees Anna Beth coming for her...it's almost an expression screaming, "HELP ME!" LOL! What sweet brothers! They are too precious!

Those are sweet brothers! One day, they will love to hang out with one another! How much age difference is between the two boys exactly?

I like your new page...I have got to get some new pictures on mine!!!!!

That's soooo sweet. One day he will be so close to his baby brother, and things will get better as Sawyer gets older and doesn't need so much mommy time.

Very Cute! I'm sure he'll realize what fun his little brother is going to be soon. Poor mama, don't you know they are going to be teaming up on you in no time!

Hey, are you all heading to the big game this weekend??? We want to go so badly but can't find tickets. I am trying to talk Jeff into letting us go and just hang out and tailgate. There may be someone there who wants to sell some tickets or something. Ya know?????

There is no doubt he loves that sweet baby! I am sure it has been quite an adjustment for J.P. They are looking more and more like one another!

That is precious! We have been very fortunate that Emmy has loved JR from the very beginning. She says that he is "her baby". She loves to make him laugh and actually get offended if he doesn't laugh at her. We have trouble with her wanting to "help" too much sometimes. She has been known to try and pick him up. We have to watch her :). The boys will grow so close as they get older. They are about the same age difference as Rob and Lee and they are really close as adults.

Beth,
The boys are two years and five months apart.

Shonna,
We missed y'all too! We expect to be back this Sunday.

Rebecca,
My entire family will be going to the game, but doubtful that Jeremy and I will--even though I would LOVE to. Of course, things could change.....ya never know. ROLL TIDE, MY BAMA FRIEND!! :)

Nikkis' two little boys are the best buds, they love each other and it is so sweet to watch them together looking out for each other! Eli calls his big brother "my Abram"..you have that to look forward to :)

Too precious for words! Thanks for the info. on adding music. Haven't tried it yet but I'm sure it will work! Mom is still available for cleaning whenever you decide. Can't wait to see more pics. What kind of camera do you have?

mmm...JP sounds a lot like my Lizzy (my dog) when I first brought Isabella (my other dog) home. She HATED her. She did not want her here at all. She now has warmed up to and I'm sure if she could talk would finally call her by her name now! I have no kids to compare to but I treat my dogs like they are my "children" so not to be comparing your children to dogs but you catch my drift anyway. Sawyer looks more like you and JP like his Dad. Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and have a Merry Christmas as your first Christmas as a family of four! Take care Julie!

ROLL TIDE Julie!! Such a great game last night. I felt like we would win but how great was it to win like THAT!! Thoroughly enjoyed it! We didn't get to go to any last year b/c Jack was so little so I understand about that. I think we could do it next week, we will just have to be perfect and make every play count!! Can't wait though!! We'll have to get together for some next year! ROLL TIDE! Hope JP feels better!

Can you believe it???? I was so excited. We actually were going until the rain. I am just not sure our son, Will could have handled the rain and sitting sort of still for that long. Maybe we will give him until next year when the Tide can hold up two fingers and take him then. Roll TIDE sister!!!!!!

You sure do have 2 good looking boys! I LOVE the updates! So glad to see John Parker seems to be warming up to little Sawyer-man! I'm about 100% sure he'll even be thankful for him one day!! :) (ps...a very sportsmanship-like congrats to the big alabama fan...just look out for my auburn tigers to make a big comeback next year!!)

Sweet pics! Your children are so beautiful. I bet they will be close as they get older. Jason and I teach the children at night at 5:00. Due to the growing # of folks, (we have been having 24), we are splitting the classes. We will have the 2 adn 3 year olds, and Emily Walkder will have the 4 and 5 year olds. Beverly Lambert is their teacher in the morning and she is sweet and wonderful. We would love for you to come to s.s. Bro. Barry is our teacher, and we love it. See you soon. I love you!

Hey! We DID have a great season and we'll only be better next year!! So, ROLL TIDE!!

Yeah, the Butlers have that HUGE Bama room so that was fun for Jack.

Jonathan and Joseph go to our church. They are Anita Nelson (you remember her from PHS) children, but their grandmother raises them. Carrie and Jay have been doing stuff with and for them for several years now!

The pictures are so sweet, I love the one of John Parker looking at Santa. I am sure it has been a big adjustment for John Parker to go from being the baby to being a big brother, but he will be a great big bro.
