For Beth...

See how my attempted family picture turned out last year? At least John Luke was smiling for the camera instead of crying. We tortured (or so he thought) our child last year in order to get a good family picture but didn't work out that way. Oh, well. I had to settle for a solo shot of himself for the Christmas card. Maybe we can do better this year...........we'll see! ;)

Well, he looked like a little angel in the Christmas card so that worked out fine. We haven't encountered the crying pictures yet but I know that it's coming!! Don't you have to go through that at least once?

John Luke thought he was being tortured too!!! Believe me, he did plenty of crying! I guess I will just try again next year when he's a little older. It's so frustrating when you get everyone ready and you {the mama} wants so badly to get a sweet family picture and they act like that!!! I was almost in tears myself!!!!!!! Thanks Julie!

That is a cute picture of you guys even with Sawyer crying!! I am debating on how to do our Christmas card this year with Emmie alone or a family shot just because I'm sure it will be hard to get a good family shot with all of us!! I think I may go with the solo one!!
BTW...if you have any tricks for how to help with the baby gas, I'm all ears, Emmie has a hard time with that ALL the time. She is unbelieveably hard to get to burp and it really gets to her!!

That is a sweet picture, you will appreciate it more as time goes by. That is a picture with a good story behind it.

We are supposed to take pictures of Emmy and John Robert and my 2 nieces over the Thanksgiving holidays for my mother-in-law's Christmas cards. That is going to be a real challenge :). John Robert is enjoying Sawyer too. Mrs. Deb said they were holding hands the other day...how sweet!
